Hello and welcome to Forest Way and Dumfries and Galloway,

 

Winner of Countryfile's "Holiday Destination of the Year 2016", Dumfries and Galloway is one of those places which really does have something for everyone.  Whether it’s adrenalin pumping outdoor pursuits or places of absolute solitude and tranquility - you can find them here.  From beautiful beaches with astonishing tides, to forests so dark you can see the Northern Lights. You can cycle, play golf or watch the amazing wildlife:  it’s all right on your doorstep.

 

We searched for years to find a property in the heart of it all and eventually found it in Forest Way.  Large enough to easily accommodate three generations of a family, the interior design of the house was based around trying to create a contemporary look while still maintaining the feel of a warm, comforting country retreat.  Filled with luxury furnishings including artwork by Scottish artists like Jack Vettriano and John Lowrie Morrison, one guest commented it is like "Gleneagles on Solway"...
